These tough looking little animals thrive in extreme heat, being native to northern Africa, they have to be! Although the might look menacing with that spiny tail, the Uromastyx is actually an herbivore! They are underrated pets, as most stay under 18" (except the Egyptian which grows to 30"+) and are generally very docile.
