Although often used in commercial fishing, Nightcrawlers also function as food for many creatures such as Amphibians, reptiles, fish and even birds!

Canadian nightcrawlers are significantly fatter and larger than other earthworms and are an excellent source of protein and other nutrients that herps need to flourish.
These feeders can preserved for a long time when they are kept at temperatures between 35-48°F.

If you are looking to keep them for more than 15 days, it is recommended to keep them in a refrigerator.
