LIVE ANIMAL SHIPPING POLICY/TERMS
By purchasing an animal from Jungle Bob's Reptile World, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
-We will contact you via email after placing your order to arrange a shipping date. We do not send out Live Animals until we confirm with you.
-Live arrival is only guaranteed when shipping temperatures at both ends are between 30F° – 90F° and you must have the package shipped to a FedEx Ship Center and held for pick up. The package must be picked up within 3 hours of arrival at the FedEx Ship Center or all guarantees are void. You will be provided tracking info so you can be aware of when it is arriving. Otherwise, we can hold the animal(s) at our facility until temperatures are safe for shipping. (Not indefinitely, boarding charges may apply.)
-We do our best to keep the website and inventory updated, but due to the high volume of business in our Brick and Mortar and Online Sales channels, some animals may not be in stock at the time of your purchase. You will be notified within 24 hours if there are any issues with your order. Please ensure you include the best contact phone number (texting works as well) and e-mail address to reach you with your order.
-Jungle Bob's in NOT responsible for any bites, scratches, stings, or any other injury inflicted upon any person or other animal caused by the animals purchased.
-You must be 18 years or older to purchase Live Animals from Jungle Bob's Reptile World.
-If held for pickup at FedEx, the package MUST be picked up by the person who's name is on the shipping label. ID will be required.
-We only ship to destinations in the continental USA. (No shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico)
-Our shipping calculator isn't perfect, when you place an animal order online, we may call you with a different price for shipping charges if the difference is noticeable.
-Charges for any extra heat or cold packs that may be required.
-Internal issues on imported animals are not included under our guarantee; it is an outward health guarantee only on imported animals. Minor cosmetic issues such as scars, missing digit, nipped tail will not effect the price of the animal. Please be aware of what you are purchasing and don't hesitate to ask if you aren't sure! Captive bred animals are usually marked "CB"
-We are NOT responsible for lost/stolen packages or any delays that may be caused by the shipping company. If package is lost or stolen, alert us immediately and we will open a case with the shipper. And if we are reimbursed, we will issue a refund.
-Live arrival guarantee only applies to animals shipped Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT. We can ship at buyer's risk on Thursdays but it is not recommended. We do not EVER ship Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- No live arrival guarantee on Amphibians, Invertebrates, or Chameleons (Due to their fragile nature)
-Buyer is responsible for understanding and following all Local, State or Federal Laws.
-We cannot send to a P.O. Box.
- Any Turtles or Tortoises under 4" in length are for EDUCATIONAL or SCIENTIFIC purposes only!
-If shipped to the house, the buyer must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. You will be provided tracking info so you can be aware of when it is arriving.
-If your shipment arrives deceased, is visibly unhealthy or is damaged in any way upon arrival the customer must notify Jungle Bob’s (email info@junglebob.com) of the deceased or unhealthy animal with pictures/video of the animal and packaging immediately (within 30 minutes) upon receiving the animal(s). The arrival time will be determined by the tracking information FedEx provides online of the delivery.
-We are not responsible for carrier delays or mishandling resulting in DOA animals.
-Jungle Bob’s does our best to sex your animal using our experience but we cannot guarantee the sex on any animal unless explicitly stated by us.
-Jungle Bob’s has the right to void live guarantee at our discretion if we believe the animal was improperly cared for or mishandled. We are always available to explain and walk you through how to properly set up, care for, and handle your animal.
-Jungle Bob’s Reptile World is not responsible for any veterinary expenses or costs incurred by the buyer for any animal. If you take any animal to a veterinarian, you do so entirely at your own expense.
-Jungle Bob’s Reptile World is NOT responsible for the return shipping cost if a customer decides to return the animal. And if agreed upon, refund will be given only after the animal returns in healthy condition.
-Any animal labeled as "adoption" or "imperfect" comes with ZERO guarantees. Jungle Bob's is NOT liable for any medical expenses incurred by purchasing one of these animals. These are all animals that we received as rescues or surrenders in "less than perfect condition". Issues can range from malnutrition to Metabolic Bone Disease and other problems caused by improper care or abuse. This is far from a "profitable" service we offer. We just want to help get these animals to loving homes that will care for them properly.
