Dried Black Oak leaves are a favored food source for isopods, millipedes or any other detritivorous species. Jungle Bob's leaf litter is collected in an area free of pesticides. Leaves in their natural form are decorative, provide shelter, hide spots and trap humidity acting as a catalyst in bio-active enclosures. Once they start to decay the nutrients will go back into the substrate.

We recommend continually adding some crushed leaves to the enclosure as a nutritious food source for all microfauna. Black Oak Leaves are a great addition to any bio-active vivarium!
