Live Animal Health Guarantee

Health Guarantee – Captive Bred Animals

  • 7‑Day Health Guarantee (Captive Bred Only)

  • We guarantee the life and outward health of our captive bred reptiles and amphibians for 7 days from the time of delivery, provided all conditions below are met.
    To qualify for this guarantee, you must:

    • Contact us within the 7‑day period, and

    • Email clear photos of the complete enclosure, including:

      • Thermometers and/or temperature gauges

      • Hygrometers or humidity gauges

      • Lighting and heating elements

      • Substrate and overall setup

  • Proper Husbandry Requirement (Very Important):

    • You must research and provide a proper, species‑appropriate environment before the animal arrives.

    • Your guarantee is void if the animal is housed in an improper or inadequate setup.

    • Examples of improper setups include (but are not limited to):

      • Housing a bearded dragon in a 10‑gallon tank

      • Incorrect temperature gradients

      • Inadequate or unsafe bedding

      • Missing or improper UVB and/or heat lighting

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether an enclosure meets acceptable husbandry standards based on the photos and information you provide.

  • Sexing Policy (No Sex Guarantee)
    We use accepted techniques to estimate the sex of animals, such as:

    • Visual assessment in sexually dimorphic species

    • Popping

    • Probing

    • Palpating

  • Methods used depend on the species and size of the animal. While we do our best, we cannot guarantee the sex of any animal. Sexing is provided as our best effort only, not a warranty.

  • Parasite & Health Coverage

    • Animals are guaranteed free of external parasites at the time of shipment.

    • Our guarantee is an outward health guarantee only.

    • Internal parasites or internal health issues are not covered under this guarantee.

Health Guarantee – Field Collected / Imported / Farm Raised / Wild Caught

  1. Live & Healthy Arrival Guarantee Only
    For field collected, imported, farm raised, and wild caught reptiles and amphibians:

    • We provide a live and visibly healthy arrival guarantee only.

    • The guarantee ends once the animal arrives alive and in apparent good health.

    • We cannot offer any health guarantee beyond arrival for these animals.

  2. Cosmetic Imperfections
    Wild caught and field collected animals may have minor cosmetic imperfections, such as:

    • Small scars

    • Missing or damaged scales or toes

    • Other superficial flaws

  3. These cosmetic issues do not affect the health of the animal and are not covered under any guarantee or return policy.

  4. No Ongoing Guarantee on Non–Captive Bred Amphibians and Certain Reptiles
    Due to the sensitive nature of all amphibians and some reptile species:

    • There are zero guarantees on all amphibians that are not captive bred.

    • There are zero guarantees on any reptiles that are not captive bred, beyond live and healthy arrival as described above.
