This is a compact sized fixture. The max for incandescent is 75 watt. The max for fluorescent bulbs is 26 watts. The fixture accommodates compact fluorescent bulbs or incandescent bulbs. This dome light fits nicely on the Exo Terra terrariums. The aluminum reflector helps UVA, UVB, and light output up to 100%. The fixture has a ceramic socket and an ON/OFF switch.
