MEASURE YOUR LAMPS UVB OUTPUT REGULARLY!!!

This reusable card can measure ultraviolet (UV) light accurately in 10 seconds.

Hold the card under the UV lamp at the basking site (within 2" / 5cm distance to the lamp) to check if the UVB output is available or not. When “Purple” light is shown on the card under the UV lamp it means that the UVB is working.  Understand that light and heat will be emitted long after the UVB is no longer working! So check it regularly and install a new UVB bulb immediately if the card doesn’t show any color. Card can be used up to 500 times when used in 10-second increments. Two cards in each pack! This is a must have tool to keep animals that require UVB and you use UVB lights.
